Magic Hour Writers is an idea that sprang up among students one of Sharon Palmeri’s writing classes in 2009. A number of students took an interest in forming a group. Two students, Jackie Huppenthal and Judith LaChance-Whitcomb took a dream and made it into a reality. The first meeting was attended by seven writers and a new group was born.

Magic Hour Writers is affiliated with Write On Hoosiers, an established writer’s group that has been meeting in Northwest Indiana for over twenty years. We are looking forward to seeing how this group evolves and appreciated each others encouragement as we step forward this coming year. We know great things are going to happen!
